I don't know why it took me this long to get around to starting to chronicle my journey in education, learning, and student success. I am very excited!

I have a Master's Degree in Higher Education Student Affairs Administration and have been coaching students to academic success for over a decade. The purpose of this blog is to chronicle my thoughts, musings, and messages along the journey as I explore learning, instruction & innovation in my studies towards an EdD. I believe that the learner of the 21st century will find current ways of teaching of little value, and am excited to be studying the future of education and areas where students and parents will need support. I have developed over the course of time a curious fascination with self-regulated learning, and the development of such skills among learners of any age or context.

Blogging, research, and writing bring a wider awareness to the knowledge available, and of value to, students, parents, and educators. Facilitating student success while expanding my own knowledge base, is a very exciting journey of exploration and learning.
